A multi-tiered cascade on Sucker Brook near Lake Dunmore, reached from Branbury State Park within Vermont's Moosalamoo National Recreation Area.
Falls of Lana is a multi-tiered cascade on Sucker Brook near the outlet of Silver Lake, reached from Branbury State Park on the shore of Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont. The falls and the cliffs above them sit at the edge of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, on land split between Vermont's Branbury State Park and the Green Mountain National Forest, and the cliffs just above the falls are also a documented rock-climbing area, with named routes referencing the falls.
Vermont Forests, Parks and Recreation describes a network of hiking trails at Branbury being rebuilt to reach the cliffs and the adjoining Forest Service land, though the department's own park page does not give a specific mileage for the Falls of Lana trail - check the current Branbury trail map and guide before visiting. As of our review, the Green Mountain National Forest's active alerts list carried no notice for Branbury, Silver Lake or Falls of Lana itself, though a separate alert for the nearby Moosalamoo Campground flagged its hand water pump as out of service into summer 2026, so anyone camping in the area should plan to bring water.
